Terms of use
Updated Aug 29, 2026The agreement between you and us. Short, because the service is simple: a free site that tells you what you can play in the cloud.
Using the site
Cloudplay is free. Browsing needs no account; following games and receiving alerts do. You must be at least 16 to create one, and the email address you give must be your own. Tell us at hello@cloudplay.now if you think someone else is using your account.
The data is read, not promised
This is the part that matters. Everything on Cloudplay is read from someone else: the services’ own catalogues and status pages, the stores’ prices, Steam, IGDB, RAWG and PrintedWaste. We read them on a schedule, so a game can join or leave a service hours before it shows here, and a queue time is a few minutes old by the time you see it. Catalogues differ by country; we show the US one. A price is a store’s list price at the time we read it, not a quote.
Check with the service before you buy a game or a subscription to play it in the cloud. Cloudplay is information from public sources, not a guarantee that a game will run, be available where you live, or stay on a service. The methodology page says how each figure is built.
Store links
Some links to stores and key sellers may be affiliate links, which means we can earn a commission if you buy through them. The price and the order are theirs, not ours. Affiliate links never change what we show or where a store is ranked. Where a link is one, it is marked next to the link.
What belongs to whom
Game names, artwork, logos and trademarks belong to their publishers and to the services. Cloudplay is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NVIDIA, Microsoft, Sony, Amazon, Boosteroid or Valve. The name, the design and the code of Cloudplay belong to Room 46 LLC.
The catalogue is free to read as JSON, for personal and non-commercial use, with a mention of Cloudplay as the source. Write to us for anything else.
What we promise (and what we do not)
We keep the site running as well as we reasonably can, but it is offered as it is: free, and without a guarantee that it will be available, accurate, or unchanged tomorrow. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop the service, in which case account holders get reasonable notice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens as a result of using the site, including a purchase made on the strength of something you read here. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched by anything on this page.
Reporting a problem
If a figure is wrong, an image is used without permission, or something is simply off, write to hello@cloudplay.now. Say what and where, and we will look at it. Rights holders should identify the work and the page it appears on.
The legal fine print
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. If you are in the European Union, those still apply to you, and you can bring a claim before your local courts.
If we change these terms, the date at the top moves and account holders are told by email when the change matters. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy, and who stands behind the site is in the legal notice.
