These games play on GeForce NOW's free plan: 1080p at 60 fps, a wait in a queue, and sessions of one hour. The other games on GeForce NOW need the Performance or Ultimate plan.

Two kinds of free are on this page. The 148 marked Free game cost nothing to own, so the free plan starts them and you pay nobody at all. They come first. For every other game here the plan is free and the game is not: you need your own copy, because GeForce NOW rents you the machine, not the game. What the other services give away, and every free game on every service, is in our free cloud gaming list.
148 of them are free twice over: the game costs nothing to own and you can play it on the free membership. The rest are games the free plan will stream once you own a copy on Steam, Epic, GOG, Ubisoft or Xbox — GeForce NOW rents you the machine, not the game.
It streams at 1080p and 60 frames per second, each session stops after an hour, ads run before the game starts, and at busy hours you wait in a queue for a machine. Nothing is capped monthly. The Performance and Ultimate plans remove all four.
No. The free membership asks for an NVIDIA account and nothing else — no card, no trial that turns into a subscription.
It depends on your region and the hour, from nothing to several hundred players ahead at peak. Our servers page shows every region's queue as it stands now, and what a typical week looks like.
