Can you play Fortnite in the cloud?+
Yes. Fortnite is on 4 cloud gaming services: GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna and Boosteroid. You play it on a PC, Xbox, phone, tablet, TV or Fire TV. You download and install nothing.
Is Fortnite on GeForce NOW?+
Yes. Fortnite is on GeForce NOW. You must own the game on Epic. GeForce NOW then runs your copy on its servers. The free plan can start it. On the free plan you play in 1080p, you may wait in a queue, and a session ends after 1 hour.
Is Fortnite on Boosteroid?+
Yes. Fortnite is on Boosteroid. You need your own copy on Epic. A Boosteroid subscription is also required.
Is Fortnite on PlayStation Plus?+
No. Fortnite is not on PlayStation Plus now. It is on GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna and Boosteroid.
Is Fortnite on Xbox Cloud Gaming?+
Yes, once you own it. Game Pass Ultimate does not include Fortnite: you buy it on the Xbox store, then play your copy through Xbox Cloud Gaming on a browser, phone, tablet or console. You still need an Ultimate membership.
Is Fortnite on Amazon Luna?+
Yes. Fortnite is included with an Amazon Luna subscription. You can play it on Fire TV, phones, tablets and browsers.
Do I need to buy Fortnite to play it in the cloud?+
No. Fortnite is free to play, so there is no copy to buy. On GeForce NOW, press Mark as owned on the game's page and it joins your library. Xbox Cloud Gaming and Boosteroid run it from a library you connect too. Amazon Luna includes it in the subscription. You pay for the cloud service separately.
Can you play Fortnite in the cloud for free?+
Yes, and nothing is bought at any point: Fortnite is free to play and the GeForce NOW free plan can start it. On the free plan you play in 1080p, you may wait in a queue, and a session ends after 1 hour. A paid plan removes the queue and allows longer sessions.
